Mid March Landscape Notes

1. Average rain/temps for this time of year
2. Spring plant purchases have been completed
3. This time next year- no more missing an entire weekend of gardening every month!
4. Weeding the front yard is going full tilt
5. Need to start some mondo grass in the farm bed
6. Will begin vertical fertilizing the river birch trees in a few weeks
7. Wine colored iris in front bed have been positively ID'd as Louisiana Iris
8. Only two more bushes need to be installed in the backyard (dwarf butterfly bush in the cut flower bed and a Natchez variety crepe myrtle in the corner bed)
9. Will mark areas that need daffodils with white-dotted rocks
10. Several areas need to be re-mulched
